Tooltip

A popup that displays information related to an element when the element receives hover or keyboard focus. Uses the Floating hook in hover mode.

Basic

Hover over the button to see the tooltip. Focus also shows it immediately.

Use side to place the tooltip on any side of the trigger. The tooltip will flip if there isn't enough space.

Use open_delay and close_delay to control timing. The first tooltip has a 500ms open delay.

Use show_tooltip/2 and hide_tooltip/2 to control tooltips from other elements.
